“Park Secrets”: New Travel Channel series premieres April 18
The new half-hour series “Park Secrets” has a two-episode premiere at 7 and 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, on the Travel Channel.
The fun and fast-paced show features insight on the best, and unknown, spots for food, accommodations and an overall good time, according to a news release.
Summaries for the first two episodes, provided by the Travel Channel, are as follows:
In the premiere episode at 7 p.m. entitled “Bright Lights, Big City,” viewers explore parks hiding in plain sight in some of America’s favorite big cities! From Greek temples and spicy BBQ in Nashville, pancakes, bears and a secret farm in Boston, to popsicles and voyeurism on an elevated rail line in New York.
Then at 7:30 p.m, the second all-new episode entitled, “Private Islands,” explores secluded getaways in the U.S. that everyone can take. Most people think a private escape is reserved only for the rich and famous, but with the right tricks, you can turn an island based-retreat into your own private getaway.
Get an inside look at an uber-luxe Little Palm Island resort, only accessible by yacht in Puerto Rico; a 524-acre uninhabited white sand beach at Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys; and chow down on some spicy southwestern hogfish at Mrs. Mac’s in the Florida Keys.
