Disney Channel and Disney XD to hold open casting call in Austin June 4

Disney Channel and Disney XD have scheduled an open casting call in Austin, Texas, June 4 to look for promising new actors, actresses, singers and dancers ages 10-18 for upcoming series and movies.

The open casting call registration and auditions will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 4 at the Omni  Hotel, 700 San Jacinto at 8th Street in downtown Austin, with an application and a monologue provided upon arrival, according to a news release.

“We are pleased to play a part in cultivating young talent and helping them achieve their dreams,” Judy Taylor, Senior Vice President, Casting and Talent Relations, said in the news release.. “With this official open casting call, our representatives are searching for a range of youthful talent with comedic acting ability and/or singing and dancing experience to showcase their skills for consideration in our upcoming series and movies.”
