Lawton resident Tanisha Atkins will be profiled on “Biz Kid$” at 8 p.m. Sunday on OETA Kids, with a repeat of the episode airing at 11:30 p.m. that night.

Atkins, a DJ at KJMZ-FM, appears in “Debt – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” and discusses how she got out of credit card debt by paying more than minimum payments, according to a news release.

“Biz Kid$,” created by the producers of “Bill Nye, the Science Guy,” is a national public television series that teaches school-aged children about money and business.

Each thirty-minute episode includes teacher-created, free curriculum for use in the classroom or at home.
