1978 Oklahoma State Penitentiary jailbreak to be featured on “I Escaped: Real Prison Breaks” Sept. 13

Investigation Discovery will be featuring the jailbreak of Claude Eugene Dennis and Michael Charles Lancaster from the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in 1978 on its series “I Escaped: Real Prison Breaks” at 9 p.m. Sept. 13.

This episode includes interviews with Russell Washington, a Caddo rancher held hostage by the duo; Warden Randy Workman and Capt. Jerry Holt (ret.) of the Oklahoma State Penitentiary; Lt. Mike Williams (ret.) of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol; and Lt. Col. Mike Grimes (ret.) of the OHP and brother of one of the duo’s victims, according to a news release.
