CBS unveils 2012-13 primetime schedule

The CBS 2012-13 primetime schedule includes four new scripted series and four time period moves for returning shows in the fall, according to a news release today.

窶廚SI: Miami,窶 featuring Oklahoma native Rex Linn, did not make the cut for the upcoming season窶冱 lineup, nor did 窶廸YC 22,窶 窶彝ob,窶 窶弑nforgettable窶 or 窶廣 Gifted Man.窶

窶弋wo and a Half Men窶 moves to Thursday nights at 7:30 and 窶弋he Mentalist窶 moves to Sunday nights at 9 p.m., while 窶廚SI: NY窶 moves to an earlier time period Friday nights at 7 p.m.  and 窶2 Broke Girls窶 moves to 8 p.m. Monday nights.

New series, with summaries provided by CBS, include:

窶廢lementary,窶 a contemporary take on the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes in New York City, starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu; 窶弖egas,窶 a drama inspired by a real-life sheriff and his battle with a powerful mobster for control of Las Vegas in the 1960s, starring Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis; 窶廴ade in Jersey,窶 starring Janet Montgomery as a smart first-year lawyer with working-class roots practicing at a prestigious Manhattan law firm; and 窶弃artners,窶 a comedy about two very different life-long best friends and business partners and their significant others, starring David Krumholtz and Michael Urie.

In addition, 窶弑ndercover Boss,窶 new reality series 窶弋he Job,窶 new drama 窶廨olden Boy窶 and new comedy 窶廡riend Me窶 are scheduled for midseason.
