Father’s Day to be celebrated on “Dora the Explorer” and “Franklin & Friends”

Two brand-new episodes of “Dora the Explorer” and “Franklin & Friends” featuring the celebration of Father’s Day premiere this week.

Dora is in for an action-packed adventure in “Feliz Dia de los Padres,” which airs at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 15 on Nickelodeon. In this episode she has to get back the kite she made for her Papi for Father’s Day before it goes out over the ocean.

In the “Franklin & Friends” episode, “It’s Father’s Day Franklin,” airing at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17 on Nick Jr., Franklin is so excited about making the perfect Father’s Day gift for Mr. Turtle that he forgets to pay attention to his own dad, according to a news release.
