“Blue Bloods” is first Friday scripted series in 10 years to average at least 13 million viewers

The CBS drama “Blue Bloods,†starring Tom Selleck, is the first Friday scripted series in 10 years to earn an average of at least 13 million viewers, according to most current Nielsen ratings through Jan. 13.

“Blue Bloods,†now in its third season, airs at 9 p.m. and is averaging 13.48 million viewers, an increase of +8% from last year.

The series also wins its time period in adults 25-54 (2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06), according to a news release.

Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Amy Carlson and Sami Gayle also star in this show about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement.
