“Go On”: “Pass Interference” episode airs Jan. 29

In this week’s episode of the NBC comedy “Go On” titled “Pass Interference,” Ryan (Matthew Perry) dates Simone (returning guest star Piper Perabo) even though Lauren (Laura Benanti) has nixed dating among group members.

While the pair enjoy the taboo aspect of their relationship, Ryan still seems to have issues to resolve as Janie’s (Christine Woods) ghost shows up whenever romantic moments occur between he and Simone.

In addition, Anne (Julie White), Yolanda (Suzy Nakamura), Sonia (Sarah Baker) and Fausta (Tonita Castro) recruit Owen (Tyler James Wiliams) to be their model when they get together to buy Lauren a wedding dress.

Watching Ryan seek counseling about Janie’s ghost from Lauren’s weight loss group is particularly amusing in this episode, and although I’m still not quite sure what to think about Owen’s stint as a bridal gown model, you can check it out for yourself at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 on NBC.
