The roster for OETA’s annual on-air fundraising drive, Festival 2013, has been announced.
Festival 2013 runs from Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 17, and the funds raised provide the means for the network to purchase educational and syndicated programming for 2013.
Information on the schedule, provided by OETA, is as follows:
Festival 2013 special programs include CHRIS MANN IN CONCERT, featuring a stunning classical voice performance of standard and contemporary hits by Chris Mann, breakout star of “The Voice.” The program airs Wednesday March 6 at 7 p.m.
Also included in the lineup: PAUL ANKA: LIVE IN SWITZERLAND, the last great classic crooner’s tribute to big bands and swing style, Sunday March 3 at 7 p.m.; JOE BONAMASSA: AN ACOUSTIC EVENING AT THE VIENNA OPERA HOUSE, an exclusive performance by the blues guitarist flavored with world music artists, Friday March 15 at 8 p.m.; and AN EVENING WITH JERRY LEWIS, featuring the comedy legend on a Las Vegas stage hilariously reflecting on his career with surprise guests, Saturday March 9 at 9 p.m.
Other pledge programs include new specials: THE PIANO GUYS: LIVE AT RED BUTTE GARDEN, airing Thursday March 14 at 7 p.m.; DIVINAS: LIVE AT CHAMBORD CASTLE, airing Tuesday March 12 at 8:30 p.m.; and RICK STEVES’ HIDDEN EUROPE, airing Monday March 11 at 7 p.m.
Festival 2013 concludes with the Best of Festival, Sunday March 17, featuring audience favorites.
