NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” makes its two-hour debut at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 3, and a couple of the All-Stars have Oklahoma connections.
Tulsa native Gary Busey and former Southeastern Oklahoma State star Dennis Rodman are among the cast that also includes Trace Adkins, Marilu Henner, Stephen Baldwin, La Toya Jackson, Penn Jillette, Claudia Jordan, Lil Jon, Omarosa Manigault, Bret Michaels, Lisa Rinna, Dee Snider and Brande Roderick.
These 14 celebrity contestants will compete in business-driven tasks around New York City testing their ability to work together with the goal of raising money and awareness for their chosen charities.
Each celebrity will have a second chance to be named “The Celebrity Apprentice” and to have the honor of presenting a $250,000 bonus check to their charity. Last season’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” raised over $2,000,000 for the contestants’ charities, according to a news release.
Donald Trump and his advisors Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump will monitor the contestants, and, for the first time ever, four previous winners will return as advisors in this season of the show.
These advisors are: Piers Morgan, first season winner ; Joan Rivers, second season winner ; John Rich, fourth season winner; and Arsenio Hall, fifth season winner.
