“Strike Back”: Season 2 World Premiere at Comic-Con includes panel and screening for fans
Season 2 of the Cinemax action drama series “Strike Back” will make its world premiere for fans at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2012 preceding its August debut on the network.
The series centers on stealth counterterrorism unit Section 20 as its members span the globe to eliminate potential threats.
Stars Philip Winchester, Sullivan Stapleton and new cast member Rhona Mitra will attend events at the annual fan festival including an official Comic-Con panel and the premiere of two brand new episodes at a special screening, according to a news release.
Information on the Comic-Con events featuring “Strike Back” and credits for the show’s stars, provided by Cinemax, are as follows:
- Panel: Friday, July 13, 8:00-9:00pm
Convention Center Room 6DE
Giving fans a peek into the making of the series, the panel will feature exclusive clips of
the new season that was shot on location in South Africa. Moderated by HitFix TV critic
Alan Sepinwall, the cast will share insights about the series and their characters, and will
take questions from fans. There will also be giveaways of exclusive merchandise.
- Screening: Saturday, July 14, 1:00-3:00pm

The cast will attend a special screening for fans and answer questions afterwards. The
initial two episodes of the new season will screen for the first time. The screening is
open to attendees with 2012 Comic-Con badges and seating is on a first come, first
serve basis.
