“Dancing with the Stars”: First-ever all-stars cast announced

DANCING WITH THE STARS: ALL STARS - "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" marks the first time prior contestants will return for another shot at the coveted mirror ball trophy for a very special All-Star season. From former champions to fan favorites, the stars will return and be paired with some of the world's most decorated professional ballroom dancers for the most unforgettable season yet. Week to week these "Dancing with the Stars" alumni will once again compete to impress the judges and the audience at home in order to be the last pair standing in this live ballroom competition. And every week the couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and viewer votes for their performance will be sent home, live, on "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars the Results Show." “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” marks the first time previous contestants, including former champions and fan favorites, will return for another opportunity to win the coveted mirror ball trophy for a special All-Star season, according to a news release.

In a series first, fans will decide who the final All-Star cast member will be, choosing from Sabrina Bryan, Carson Kressley and Kyle Massey.

Fans can vote for their favorite “Viewers’ Choice: All-Star” at www.ABC.com/DancingwiththeStars, presented by Diet Pepsi, starting today, Friday, July 27 at 12:30 p.m., through Friday, Aug. 24 at 2 p.m.

“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” has a two-hour premiere at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, followed by the two-hour season debut of “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25 on ABC.

- Reality television personality Bristol Palin

- Reality television personality Melissa Rycroft

- NFL football Super Bowl champion Emmitt Smith
