NBC has decided to bring back the a cappella singing competition show “The Sing-Off” during the holidays later this year.

“The Sing-Off” debuted in December 2009 as a five-night event and became a weekly series in 2011.

On the show, the country’s top a cappella groups perform popular songs without lip synching or back-up bands for the chance to win a recording contract and $100,000.

The host and celebrity judges will be announced at a later time.
