In the new USA Network reality series “The Moment,” premiering at 9 p.m. Thursday, April 11, nominated individuals are given a shot at being hired in their dream profession.
Hosted by former NFL quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner, this is an inspiring series for viewers and participants.
Tracie Marcum, an Alabama mother and office administrator, is the subject of the first episode.
Marcum’s goal is to become a photographer for Sports Illustrated, and she undergoes an intense two-week training period with world-renowned sports photographer Lou Jones to prepare for her job interview.
Car fanatic and driver Kyle Shields is featured in the second episode. Shields’ dream is to be a professional race car driver, and he’s given the chance to work with NASCAR champion Brendan Gaughan to try and win a spot on the Richard Childress Racing team.
While being given these second chances, the participants are able to test themselves and gain confidence in their efforts, whether they’re ultimately chosen for the job or not.
Viewers gain insight into the challenges and talents involved in the dream jobs shown, as well as insight into the personalities of the people who are featured.
