In this week’s episode of “The Good Wife”:

Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Will (Josh Charles) again face adversaries search engine expert Neil Gross (John Benjamin Hickey) and his attorney Viola Walsh (Rita Wilson). Lockhart/Gardner is representing an internet startup company in a court battle against Gross in which both sides prove to be very resourceful.

Alicia is also asked by Eli (Alan Cumming) for assistance in refuting a story that could be damaging to Peter’s campaign.

Dominic Chianese guest stars in this episode as no-nonsense Judge Marx.

The best element to this episode, besides the skillful courtroom competition, is the interaction between Peter (Chris Noth) and Alicia. She assumes one thing about him at the beginning of the show and something else by the end.

And Nathan Lane gives another solid performance as the firm’s financial restructuring trustee.

My only complaint, however, is that while Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and Nick’s (Marc Warren) wild reunion was interesting in the premiere episode, their weirdness seems to have gotten pointless now.

I’m looking forward to that story line wrapping up.

Otherwise, “The Good Wife” fans should enjoy this show.

The “Two Girls, One Code” episode airs at 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 on CBS.
