“Hawaii Five-O”: Trip down memory lane makes for memorable episode
On the next episode of “Hawaii Five-0″ titled “I Ka Wa Mamua,” Danny’s (Scott Caan) encounter with an almost-triggered bomb makes it necessary for McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) to encourage him to reminisce about a particularly taxing day, physically and mentally, during his career as a cop in New Jersey.
Caan takes full advantage of his chance to shine in this episode focusing on his character’s past and delivers an amazing performance.
The writing is equally as good – the story throughout this entire show is absolutely riveting with twists that are completely unexpected.
And, although there is immense intensity involved, there is an element of sweetness included as well.
Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Terrence Howard and rapper T.I. guest star in this episode.
