Legislators should focus on improving life in Oklahoma

I'd like to see Oklahoma legislators drop all the party-line policy bills, along with the morality, abortion, flag salute, prayer, gay or any other feel-good legislation. Forget trolling for votes for the next election. Start to work on improving life in Oklahoma. We need jobs, school consolidation, government agency consolidation, repair of roads and bridges, repair of our state Capitol building, help for the corrections department, improvement of health and child welfare and a host of other state functions. Let Oklahoma become a guiding force to honestly work to use the tax money sent to Oklahoma City to make this a better place to live.

I'm not nearly as interested in a tax decrease as I am in streamlining government to be as frugal as possible while offering as much help as possible to those who need it.
