Three people died on Oklahoma roads in three separate incidents, authorities said.
About 8 a.m. Saturday, a man jumped from a highway overpass in northwest Oklahoma City and was hit by several vehicles, Oklahoma City police said. The man died at the scene. The incident closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 44 near NW 23 for several hours, police said.
Skylar Briley, 19, Madill
About 10:50 a.m. Saturday, Briley was driving a pickup east on U.S. 70 in Bryan County. The pickup crossed the centerline near Ranchette Road and hit a westbound car head-on, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Briley, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.
Geary Stevens, 50, Davis
About 8:30 a.m. Friday, Stevens was driving south on Interstate 35 in Carter County about a mile south of Springer. The car went off the road and rolled twice, ejecting him, troopers said. Stevens, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by helicopter to a Dallas hospital, where he died Saturday, troopers said.
