OKC RedHawks rout New Orleans

The Oklahoma City RedHawks got a strong start from Jordan Lyles and some late offense to rout the New Orleans Zephyrs 11-1 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Saturday night.

Lyles (2-2) allowed three hits and one run in five innings of work. He struck out four and improved his ERA to 5.32.

The RedHawks scored four runs in the seventh inning and three in the eighth to ice the victory.

DH Marc Krauss and first baseman Brett Wallace each homered for OKC. Krauss, Jonathan Villar, Trevor Crowe and Jake Elmore had two RBIs apiece for the RedHawks.

The four-game series concludes at 2:05 p.m. Sunday in Bricktown. Brett Oberholtzer (0-2, 9.49 ERA) will take the mound for the RedHawks against New Orleans' Jacob Turner (1-2, 7.27).
