Nearly 2,000 Netflix movies to disappear

Sorry Netflix fans. The company’s licensing agreements with Warner Bros., MGM, and Universal expire today, which means about 1,800 movies will be pulled from the service, according to CNN.

The station reports the move is being called “The Great Netflix Purge” and “Streamageddon.”

How will we survive?

The company notes that even as many titles are expiring, news ones are being added. Even today, some 500 new titles are being made available, according to CNN.
