BEDFORD, Texas (AP) — Oklahoma authorities have arrested a man sought after a woman and an 8-year-old boy were found stabbed to death in a North Texas apartment.

Bedford police on Thursday did not immediately say whether the man has been charged or his relationship to the victims.

Lt. David Smith says emergency personnel Wednesday night responded to a 911 call about a stabbing in Bedford, about 10 miles northeast of Fort Worth.

A 30-year-old woman and the boy were dead at the scene. Police say a wounded 12-year-old boy and an uninjured baby were taken to a hospital.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers late Wednesday night captured a 38-year-old man being sought by police. He was caught about 70 miles north of the Texas-Oklahoma border.

TV stations report Cedric Ricks, 38, was arrested about 11:15 p.m. on Interstate 35 near Wynnewood about 70 miles north of the Red River.

Investigators said Ricks was the woman's estranged boyfriend and the couple had one child together, an 8-month-old boy, Dallas TV stations report.

Names of the victims and further details weren't immediately released.
