The Class A and B state baseball tournaments were postponed Thursday due to impending rain and shortened to two-day events.

The first round will be played Friday with the semifinals and finals scheduled for Saturday.

The Class A tournament will be held at Dolese Park with the Class B tournament being played at Edmond Memorial. Both championship games are now scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday.

Both classes were scheduled to play their semifinals and finals at Dolese Park before the move.

The change comes as the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association goes to court in McCurtain County on Thursday morning to try to overturn a temporary restraining order granted to Wright City on Wednesday.

The Lumberjax were forced to forfeit their opening game of the tournament due to playing more games than allowed.

Wright City received a temporary restraining order with a hearing set for May 13 but the OSSAA is trying to either overturn the TRO or have the hearing moved up.
