Fandango reports that “Iron Man 3″ is drawing 93 percent of the site’s ticket sales as of today at 10 a.m.   Fandango also reports “Iron Man 3″ has scored a 100 on the site’s “Fanticipation” scale.

According to Fandango, the scale charts movie fan buzz and excitement around the weekend box office line-up.  Numerical scores (on a 1-100 scale) are calculated based a proprietary analysis of Fandango’s advance ticket sales, website and mobile traffic, and social media engagement.

“Iron Man 3″ was the winner of a spring Fandango movie survey for most anticipated summer film.   The movie is currently Fandango’s top-selling advance ticket-seller of the year, and its advance sales are outperforming Iron Man 2, at the same point in that film’s sales cycle.

The following are Fandango.com survey results of more than 1,000 Iron Man 3 ticket-buyers:

- 88% of survey respondents said The Avengers influenced their decision to see Iron Man 3.

- 62% said Gwyneth Paltrow’s more dynamic role in Iron Man 3 increased their interest in seeing the movie.

- 57% picked Sir Ben Kingsley as the most anticipated newcomer to the Iron Man franchise.
