Police, FBI investigate northwest Oklahoma City bank robbery

The Bank of Oklahoma, 11300 N May Ave., was robbed Monday afternoon. The robber is described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 5 inches, 300 pounds with a large build, the FBI reported.

Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a northwest Oklahoma City bank Monday afternoon.

The man walked into Bank of Oklahoma, 11300 N May Ave., about 2:50 p.m. and demanded money from the teller. The robber said he had a weapon. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, the FBI reported.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The robber was wearing sunglasses, a light blue surgical cap, a light colored shirt, tan pants, white rubber gloves and appeared to have surgical gauze wrapped around his face, which was covered with makeup.

The robber is described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 5 inches tall, and about 300 pounds, the FBI reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 290-7770. Callers may remain anonymous and are eligible of a reward from the Oklahoma Bankers Association.
