Oklahoma lost its only 2014 basketball commitment Monday when Jacob Hammond announced he was reopening his recruitment.

Hammond announced his decision on Twitter, saying he wanted to be sure he made the right decision.

The 6-foot-9 center/power forward committed to the Sooners in August, the same day that Edmond Memorial's Jordan Woodard committed from the 2013 class. Woodard later signed with OU.

Hammond played last season at Sunrise Christian in Bel Aire, Kan. It was his third team in three years. Hammond went to Duncan as a freshman before playing his sophomore year for the Oklahoma City Storm.
