I’m a big fan of lash enhancers. I’ve used Revitalash and Neulash. Both worked really well. Longer, thicker, fuller lashes in less than four weeks. Both are expensive, too. You can expect to hand over $150 for a tube.

I figured it would be just a matter of time before one of the big cosmetics giants jumped into the lash fringe, and it happened. L’Oreal has introduced Lash Boosting Serum, which claims to boost natural lash health by fortifying, nourishing and strengthening lashes.

I think I paid about $13 for a tube.

You can apply the L’Oreal serum at night to bare lashes or during the day under your mascara. For best results, L’Oreal says to use it twice a day — at night and before applying your mascara.

Nowhere does it say that the serum will make lashes fuller, longer or thicker. But I’m going to give it a try. You can also buy a lash boost system that includes the serum and L’Oreal’s Double-Extend Lash Boosting Mascara for about $21 or just a bit more. I opted for just the serum because I prefer L’Oreal Voluminous mascara.

I’ll let you know what I think. If you’re already using the L’Oreal serum or the serum and lash boosting mascara, let me know what kind of results you’re seeing.
