What proobably won’t change: drama, drama, drama.
The 11th season of “Project Runway” kicks off at 7 tonight on Lifetime with the introduction of designers, followed at 8 when the competition starts.
Posen, who launched his collection in 2002, and the show’s mentor, Tim Gunn, talked about the new season on ”Good Morning America. Posen said he’s a bit of a softie and sweetie pie when it comes to his judging style, but he expects a level of excellence from the desingers. He said he wanted to offer guidance and help them show their personal best.
Gunn said Posen sets a high standards for the contestants, and that’s a wonderful thing.
As for the new team concept, Gunn said that means contestants are responsibile for each other’s work as well as their own.
Posen said the biggest surprise for him was seeing the designers’ fast creativity.
Sounds like it’s going to be another good season.
And just fyi: Kors couldn’t commit to the season because of his schedule, but he will be back as a guest judge for the season finale, accoring to Lifetime.
