Pure Color

Glance at any cosmetics counter and you’ll see some of the season’s prettiest offerings. Estee Lauder’s new Pure Color Pretty Naughty Collection for spring is worth a close look — or two.

The company describes the collection as watercolor pastels taken to new heights. Think playful, feminine and sensual.

The result: Eyes washed in soft tones and lined with dark pigment to create emphasis and contrast. Cheeks touched with a tint of color for a look that comes across innocent and glowing. Lips vivid but sheer and lilac nails.

The collection

Five Color Eye Shadow Palette in Pretty Naughty has five shadows — light pink, neutral taupe, soft violet, aqua and shimmering charcoal. $48.

Pure ColorIntense Kajal Eyeliner Duo in black/blue has a creamy formula to create a light blue highlight or a black definition. $23.Pure Color

Sumptuous Extreme Mascara in Extreme Black. $25.

Illuminating Powder Gelée Blush in Tease features a trio system of liquid, powder and gel, a ”multi-powder” formula, if you will, that creates a soft and subtle shimmer on the skin. $40.

Sheer Matte Lipstick in Naked, Rock Candy, Rebel and Demure. $25.

Nail lacquer in Insatiable,. $20.

” I wanted to create a collection for the woman who is sexy yet romantic. Pretty Naughty is very pastel, but also a little naughty in a gentle, discreet way,” said  Tom Pecheux, creativemakeup director, Estee Lauder.
