Change is coming to Macy’s this fall, but it might not be something that you’ll notice immediately … if at all.

The national department store chain announced that it will replace its current clear hangers with matte black hangers made of recycled materials. The chain uses more than 300 million hangers a year.

The switch will take a few months, so you can expect to see a mix of black and clear for a while.
