Abaete goes out of business

Abaete, a New York-based urban chic label, has gone out of business, another vitim of the recession. The company was founded by French Brazilian designer Laura Poretzsky in 2004 and quickly became a favorite a favorite among fashion media and celebrities. Abaete teamed with Payless to create its first-ever designer shoe collaboration.
