Color Me Beautiful color analysis workshop offered
If you sometimes wonder if a color really looks good on you, here’s your opportunity to learn which colors best flatter you.
A Color Me Beautiful workshop will help participants learn to use color analysis to make certain they are choosing the most flattering colors and shades in their clothing and accessories. The workshop will be at 9:30 a.m. July 29 .
“Since everyone’s skin tone, hair and eye color are different then the colors and shades we should use to highlight those features will be different as well,” said Casey Campbell, the Family and Consumer Sciences Educator for the Oklahoma County OSU Cooperative Extension Service and advisor for the county’s Oklahoma Home and Community Education program.
Participants will learn which shades associated with the four seasons –winter, spring, summer or fall — best fit their natural coloring and will work best for them when it comes to makeup, clothing and other color picks.
“Seasonal color analysis has been around for a long time,” Campbell said, “but many of us haven’t been able to take advantage of this tool. Our OHCE members wanted to open up their workshop to others so they can take advantage of the benefits of color analysis as well.”
The Color Me Beautiful workshop will be at the Oklahoma County OSU Cooperative Extension Service auditorium at 930 N Portland. The workshop is free to the public.
