Lands' End wants to send you and a guest to Italy

by Linda Miller Published: October 15, 2012

Now here’s a contest I have to enter.

Lands’ End and Polartec are giving away a trip to Italy. Yes, that’s correct. Italy. Through Oct. 23, you can sign up for the Lands’ End Italian Apline Getaway by logging on to the Lands’ End Facebook page.

One winner and their guest will be randomly selected to travel to Italy to attend the 2013 Polartec Scufoneda Ski and Cultural Festival, taking place March 5-10.  Round-trip airfare, ground transportation, meals and hotel accommodations in Moena, Italy, will all be included in the getaway package.

Taking place in the Italian Dolomites, which is famous for extreme skiing, the Scufoneda Ski & Cultural Festival brings together some of the best Telemark skiers in the world for a weeklong competition.  The winner and guest will have an up-close seat for the races, as well as spend time in the quaint mountain village of Moena.  In addition to the trip, each traveler will receive an assortment of Lands’ End Polartec Aircore jackets and accessories.

New for 2012, the Lands’ End Aircore Polartec jackets, hats, and gloves are woven with an exclusive hollow-core yarn that captures air to produce 20 to 30% more warmth while remaining lightweight

The trip is valued at more than $10,000.  Remember, deadline is Oct. 23.
