It has long been rumored that George Clooney might return to the television drama “ER” during the show’s final season.

Now, it’s official. Clooney’s former “ER” co-star Noah Wyle confirmed to US Weekly magazine that Clooney will return during the season finale.

Clooney played Dr. Doug Ross on the show for six seasons from 1994 to 2000.

The finale will air April 2 on NBC.

  Nobody cares... He's just going back because his career has gone to hell, and nobody knows who he is anymore!! He's just trying to revive his career, best of luck to him!! And I know that if he was a HUGE name in Hollywood, he wouldn't be returning to the show, he's only going back because he has to, not because he wants to! But I don't watch ER anyways, so I could care less.
