Details of what happened the night of Tiger's accident, according to report
There’s good news and two pieces of bad news for Tiger Woods this week. The good news is there might be a ray of hope for saving his marriage.
His wife, Elin Nordegren, spent several days visiting him at the Gentle Path clinic in Hattiesburg, Miss, according to the New York Post.
Woods has been holed up in the Mississippi rehab center getting treatment for his sexual addiction.
The fact that Nordegren is willing to visit him in prison (oops. I mean sex addiction rehab) proves she is not yet ready to end the marriage. He’s probably earning extra points with Nordegren by seeking treatment.
Now, here’s the first piece of bad news.
Daily Beast investigative reporter Gerald Posner, published a story claiming he uncovered the details that occurred the night of Woods’ infamous car crash.
Posner said his report is based on two sources who have discussed the details with Nordegren.
According to his report, Woods told Nordegren the National Enquirer was going to publish a story alleging he had an affair with Rachel Uchitel, also known as mistress number one.
Woods assured Nordegren the accusations were 100 percent false, and he only had a platonic friendship with the nightclub manager. Woods arranged for Nordegren and Uchitel to speak on the phone. Uchitel explained to Woods’ wife that they were just friends, according to the report.
