The Dark Knight Rises, Heath Ledger's Apartment Back on the Market
Batman fans looking for any news about The Dark Knight Rises — set for a July 20, 2012 release — got a morsel yesterday from Sir Michael Caine, who told Empire “script in January, shoot in May, finish in November.” Caine neither confirmed nor denied rumors that Eddie Murphy will be cast as The Riddler. No Joker, of course, for the Dark Knight sequel, but the SoHo apartment where Health Ledger died is finally back on the market, nearly three years after the actor’s drug overdose. The 4,400-square-foot loft, located at 421 Broome Street — completely gutted and renovated — can be yours for $5M. That’s chump change compared to the True Blood house. The three-story, 12,045-square-foot Malibu pad overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is on the market for $35M.
