Coyne said he should have known better

According to police reports, Wayne Coyne on Nov. 10, attempted to board an airplane at Will Rogers World Airport with a grenade in his carry-on bag.
Reporting officer Lindel Sides wrote in a police crime report that the grenade was not active and that Coyne was cooperative and up front with him and TSA officials.
“(Coyne) said he should have known better,” Lindel wrote in the report.
