Oklahoma’s own eccentric musician Wayne Coyne on Nov. 10 shut down a security checkpoint at Will Rogers World Airport when screeners found a grenade in Coyne’s carry-on.

The painted grenade was not live.  According to police reports, Coyne said the grenade was a gift given to him at a party in Arkansas.

Coyne is the lead singer of the Flaming Lips.
