Congrats to Patrick House, the newest Biggest Loser!

The newest title of “The Biggest Loser” couldn’t have gone to a sweeter or more deserving guy, in my opinion. Patrick House took the title and the $250,000 prize.

Last night’s finale of the show was one of the most exciting BL finales I’ve seen. First, Alison Sweeny announced that America overwhelmingly voted Ada Wong in as the third finalist. No surprise there. Ada has been one of America’s favorites all along with her heart-tugging story of the death of her little brother and the way she felt her parents blamed her for his death. When she and her parents finally sat down and talked it all over last week, there was not a dry eye in my house. Ada also won America’s hearts when she threw a challenge to let Patrick win a new car because she knew how  much he needed it. What a gal!

Then, all the contestants who’d previously been booted from the show came back to show off their new bods. It was a tight race for at-home winner between Mark Pinkhasovich, Adam Hurtado and Rick Duroque but in the end, the at-home winner was Mark, having lost more than 50 percent of his weight. All three looked amazing.
