There was excellent music, wonderful food, a special party atmosphere and just a great evening last night (April 25th) at the Chesapeake Boathouse on the Oklahoma River.

ARTS! ARTS! ARTS! party planners, led by co-chairmen Kathy Cain and Carol Wilkinson Troy, even considered the weather and put up a white tent on the deck for the dinner catered by Deep Fork Grill.

The University of Oklahoma Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts event featured the OU Steel Band, OU Jazz Band, OU Department of Musical Theater and the OU School of Dance as entertainment for the several hundred guests.

Lighted candles and large bouquets of white daisies and chrysanthemums decorated the tables and guests wore nautical attire. Everyone loved watching the boating crews come off the river with their long boats to store in the Boathouse.
