HISTORIC AFFAIR…University of Oklahoma President David Boren was the honoree at several book signings and receptions this week. He has published a new book titled “A Letter to America.”
Boren, with his books (109 pages), was at the Oklahoma History Center, on the Norman campus and at Full Circle Book Store signing his name.
At the OHC, he signed for several hours and also gave a brief talk about his book and how he happened to write it. 300 people came to meet the author.
Proceeds from the book sale benefit the OU Sooner Heritage Scholarships Fund and the OU Press.
