The Prix de West reception and preview party on Friday night, June 8, at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum was a sold-out event. There were 1200 people there and all of them were examining and enjoying the artwork which will be sold by ballot drawing on Saturday, June 9, at 6:30 p.m.
There was more art on display than ever before. And actually, the entire event, including tonight’s Prix de West Invitational Awards Banquet, features a larger crowd than in years past. There were 1100 reservations at last count.
Friday, June 8, the seminar speakers at the Sam Noble Special Event Center were David Wade, Dr. Steven Grafe, Seth Hopkins, Wilson Hurley, Seth Hopkins and Charles P. Schroeder.
