STAR ON HAND….Documentary film producer, writer, director and communications specialist David Kennard from San Francisco, Ca., was in town recently to talk about his new documentary “ReCreating America” for national Public Television. He wants Oklahoma to be in one of his three one- hour film segments.

He discussed his plans and his film’s fund- raising efforts with guests at a cocktail buffet hosted by Lolly and Mike Anderson. “We want to show Oklahoma to itself,” Kennard said. “And then show Oklahoma to the rest of the nation,” he added.

Kennard also noted in a news release that the creativity theme for the documentaries will answer “how does our social and work environment promote or tend to prevent creativity? Is creativity inherited? Can it be taught?
