PARTIES EXTRA!- NOVEMBER 4, 2007-ENTERTAINING AT BRUNCH
IT’S A PARTY.…Linda James, Laura Kirkpatrick, Barbara Beeler and Linda Reece enjoy the party. Beeler and Reece were two of the hostesses, along with Libby Steakley and Patty Cohenour, for a baby shower and brunch at Cohenour’s home for Kirkpatrick. Laura and Austin Kirkpatrick’s baby boy is due soon. For the serving table, a blue and white vase held tulips, roses, iris, sunflowers, daisies and bells of Ireland. Ham, cheese and egg soufflé was served, along with grits, and mini muffins. Monogrammed petit fours were also on the menu. Among the guests were Candy Ainsworth, Karen Samis, Susan Hoffman, Shirley Everest, Lawre Everest, Susan Parker, Jackie Jones, Marsha See, Linda James, Shan Samis and Arlene James. FAN FARE… Lara Branum, Phoebe Hunter, Grace Douglas, Natalie Marshall, Audrey Amis, Ellie Dunn, Savannah Vogler, seated, and John Marshall, standing, celebrate Natalie Marshall’s 9th birthday Japanese style at Musashi’s Japanese Steakhouse. Partygoers wore silk kimonos, geisha wigs and makeup. They had dinner in a private dining room and a chef prepared their dinner. They then went to the Marshall home where Japanese lanterns decorated the dining room. (Photo provided).
