Mike Seikel was honored at a birthday brunch at Boom. Hosts were his wife, Jeary, and children Emily Seikel and Denise Duong Seikel and Matt Seikel. It was his 60th birthday.
The invitation was a drawing by artist Denise Duong Seikel of the honoree in physician’s clothing (complete with stethoscope) holding a fish (to depict one of his favorite hobbies.)
Guests ordered from the menu and enjoyed quiche, French toast, Steak eggs benedict, bloody marys, screwdrivers and other brunch items.
