Parties Extra! Ladies in the News Style Show

Oklahoma Hospitality Club members presented the 46th annual Ladies in the News Luncheon and Style Show recently at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. It was very fast moving with the 10 honorees modeling fashions from Ruth Meyers and interesting commentary about the women from Linda Cavanaugh.

Beth Cupp is Oklahoma Hospitality Club president and Bonny Green was luncheon chairman and Pat Grisham was co-chairman.

Honorary Chairman was (Ret.) Maj. Gen. Rita Aragon, USAF and in her honor there was an additional model who modeled military attire.

Honorees, all very news -worthy and beautiful, were Carole Kelley,  Sherrel Jones, Jean Lehr, Barbara Masters, M.D., Jan Peery, Hilarie Blaney, Capt. Vashina Butler, Sue Winterringer, Kathy Jean Perkins Snider and Karen Stark.

Lee Ann Limber and Josh Beasley were also on the program. Their programs, CASA of Oklahoma County and Positive Tomorrow, were grant recipients of the club.

Other committee members were Sherrian Geurin, Joan Zubik, Jan Brown, Pat Dean, Judy Perrin, Connie Weber, Jean Lea Spitz, Diane Strube, Anita Ashley, Pat Wheeler, Susan Edwards, Dorothy Gray, Patty Casteel, Marsha Davis, Barbara Case and Terrie Nugent. Hostesses were Marla Balentine, Becky Barr, Marlene Beery, Barbara Case, Patty Casteel, Linda Cravens, Cynthia Cooper, Donna Finley, Lala Hatcher, June Howard, Jenni Nikkel, Terrie Nugent, Judith Roberson, Diane Strube, Carol Swink and Linda Yarbrough.
