Annette Abbott, Scott Davis and David Leader were chairmen for a patron party at the Devon Boathouse in commemoration of the Jim Thorpe 100th Anniversary and also celebrating the Jim Thorpe Native American Games which will take place in Oklahoma City in June. Grant Stevens Band provided music. A 15 ft. Jim Thorpe bronze statue was set up.

Bob Barry jr. talked about Jim Thorpe and the Native American athletes who will be coming for the games. Gigi Tannahill, representing the Jim Thorpe family, gave remarks for the family.

Tables had bouquets of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, green mums and berries (a lot like the bouquets presented at the Olympics.)

Donors were given a small replica of the Jim Thorpe statue and gold medal.

Seen: Lori and Ty Tyler, Jenny and David Kallenberger, Lance McDaniel, Martha and Kent Bradford, Cindy Cabrera, Sandy and Art Cotton, Ann and Bobby Sloan, Jim Abbott, Mike Knopp, Sheila and Ted Keeney, Yvonne Kauger, Anastasia Pittman, Monica Brown and Willard Nixon.
