Brunch held at JRB Art at the Elms

The 8th annual Prix de West JRB Art at the Elms brunch honored  Glenna Goodacre recently. The artist who attended the party with her husband, Mike Schmidt, and studio manager, Daniel Raymond Anthony, filled the main gallery with several new sculptures.

The buffet by Robert Painter of Iguana Grill featured buttermilk biscuits with homemade Chorizo sausage gravy, cake muffins, scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage, potato wedges, fresh berries, and chicken salad on croissants. A large vase of Gerber daisies was the centerpiece. Desserts were placed in another room and they included M.J. Van Deventer’s Golden Rum Cake and Carolyn Stuart’s Chocolate Rum Cake topped with whipped cream and strawberries.

People at  the party included Justice Yvonne Kauger, Justice Carol Hansen, Patty Roloff, Joan Gilmore, Marion Paden, Gail Vines, Cynthia Archiniaco, Leslie Spears, Suzanne Cunningham, John Yoekel, Sandy Scott, Lisa and George Hallmark, Maureen and Randle Dutra, Alanna Mateson, Ross Matteson, Dorothy and Walter Hammert, Linda and Jim Simmons, Suzanne Randall King, Michi Susan, Regina Murphy, Diane Coady, Beth and Jim Hammack, Linda Haller, Karen Klinka, Dana and Randall Shadid, Linda and Gerald Barnett, Joyce Stewart, Casey London, Anne and Barry Gray and Kaye Adams.
