Oklahoma native and country superstar Carrie Underwood plays a pharmaceutical rep and love interest for lead character Ted (Josh Radnor) on her guest-starring role on next Monday’s “How I Met Your Mother.” But she also gets to play a cavegirl, nurse and flight attendant opposite Ted’s pal Barney Stinson (the awesome Neil Patrick Harris) in a historical montage on the episode.

I already was looking forward to Carrie’s acting debut, but this clip has me thinking her guest spot will be legen – that’s right, wait for it – dary!
