Weekend Activities for July 23-25
The three day show, Rock N America, begins Friday, July 23, at the Zoo Amphitheatre, 2101 NE 50th Street. Headliners for Friday include Twisted Sister and Great White.

However, they are becoming known for something else now: giving advice to other filmmakers. The folks behind<em> Tron Legacy</em> have already admitted to running early versions of their film by the <em>Pixar </em>people to get their input on everything from story to character issues. Apparently, Jason Segel decided to do the same with his new Muppet movie recently. In both cases, I'm sure the makers of these films were hoping some of the Pixar magic would rub off on their projects (and please notice that neither of these are animated films). It just goes to show how great <em>Pixar's</em> reputation has become in recent years. ---3D
