"Pretty Little Liars" 2nd season to premiere June 14; Ryan Merriman will be at the center of the show's mystery

Season two of “Pretty Little Liars” is set to premiere at 7 p.m. June 14 on ABC Family, following an all-day marathon of the show beginning at 10 a.m. The popular teen drama, based on the book series by Sara Shepard, stars Shay Mitchell,, Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario.

But Choctaw-born and bred actor Ryan Merriman will play a key role in the second season in his recurring role as “snake with blue eyes” Ian Thomas. In the first season’s cliffhanger finale, Ian appeared to die in a fall from a bell tower, but his body later disappeared.
